As the domicile of a bank, this building becomes an image-bearer for building in steel in an urban context – this in a region of Europe in which steel has as yet found little application in the urban context as a building material. The project demonstrates the advantages of steel construction regarding costs and efficiency of execution at a difficult and ambitious site in the town in an impressive way. The steel construction was executed in accordance with the requirements using an earthquake resistant method.

Als Sitz einer Bank wird dieser Bau zu einem Imageträger für den Stahlbau im urbanen Umfeld - dies in einer Region in Europa, wo der Stahl als Baumaterial im städtischen Raum noch wenig Verbreitung gefunden hat. Das Projekt veranschaulicht in beeindruckender Weise die Vorteile des Stahlbaus in Bezug auf Kosten- und Fertigungseffizienz an einem schwierigen und städtebaulich anspruchsvollen Bauplatz. Die Stahlkonstruktion wurde den Anforderungen entsprechend in erdbebensicherer Bauweise ausgeführt.

Ce projet illustre en effet de manière éloquente les avantages de la construction métallique en terme d'efficience de production et de coût sur un chantier difficile en plein centre ville. La charpente métallique mise en œuvre est bien entendu conçue en conformité aux règlements pour résister aux séismes.
