6th European Conference on Steel and Composite Structures

The 6th European Conference on Steel and Composite Structures, organized by the three major Hungarian Technical Universities, follows the Conferences held earlier in Athens (1995), Prague (1999), Coimbra (2002), Maastricht (2005) and Graz (2008).
The Conference will be held in the heart of Budapest, hosted by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The Conference offers a platform to discuss a wide range of problems related to great variety of research, design and construction activities.

Call for abstract

The Scientific Committee invites all participants wishing to contribute to the scientific program to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts must be submitted by Sunday, November 15, 2010. Abstracts received after this date will not be considered.

» Abstracts must be submitted using the preformatted electronic form below.
» All abstracts must be submitted in English.

The preformatted submission form is formatted as follows

• Title: Entire title in capital letters.
• Presenter: Give full firstname.
• Authors: Give initials first, then surname without title or degrees. The presenting author's name should be included here also. Authors not listed here will be omitted from published materials.
• Affiliation: Give authors's details (Department, Institution, City, Country), no street address or email address.
• Abstract body: The abstract should clearly indicate the content of the paper and highlight its contribution to advance the knowledge in the respective area of research.
• Abstract Size 200-300-word abstract.

Abstract submission

You will receive a confirmation email immediately after the abstract submission. When the abstract review is finished a further notification email will be sent. Please consider the key dates. If you want to submit more than one abstract with the same submitting author, send each abstract separately, using the same login account regardless of the number of abstracts.

Call for companies

The Congress is accompanied by a technical exhibition where different equipments, solutions, softwares or any kind of technical information can be presented or demonstrated to professional visitors in the exhibition area. On request there is a possibility for company lectures as part of the program. The organizers believe that it is also a good opportunity to meet decision makers and young professionals of the future.
